Patek Philippe 5270P-014 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
The Patek Philippe 5270P-014 is a platinum perpetual calendar chronograph distinguished by its lacquered green dial with a dramatic black-gradient rim. Introduced in 2022, this interpretation of the Ref. 5270 pairs one of Patek Philippe’s most important Grand Complications with a distinctly contemporary aesthetic.
At its heart is the manually wound Calibre CH 29-535 PS Q, combining a traditional chronograph with a perpetual calendar capable of displaying the day, date, month, leap-year cycle, day/night indication and moon phases. The movement consists of 456 components and provides approximately 55 to 65 hours of power reserve with the chronograph disengaged.
The 41mm platinum case features Patek Philippe’s signature diamond discreetly set at 6 o’clock, while the green lacquered dial transitions toward black at its perimeter. White-gold faceted hour markers and dauphine-style hands complete one of the most distinctive modern interpretations of Patek Philippe’s perpetual calendar chronograph.
The Ref. 5270 occupies an important position within Patek Philippe’s lineage of perpetual calendar chronographs. Introduced in 2011 as the successor to the Ref. 5970, it became the first Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph powered by a fully in-house chronograph movement.
The Ref. 5270P-014 combines two of Patek Philippe’s most historically important complications—a chronograph and perpetual calendar—with the manufacture’s manually wound CH 29-535 PS Q calibre. Its green lacquered gradient dial, platinum construction and cleaner tachymeter-free dial distinguish it from earlier versions of the Ref. 5270.
