Expert Appraiser’s Comments:
The Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon Ref. 298616-3001 is a highly complicated and relatively rare timepiece from Chopard’s Alpine Eagle collection. The 41mm Lucent Steel case houses the manufacture L.U.C 96.24-L automatic flying tourbillon movement, measuring only 3.30mm in thickness. The movement carries both COSC Chronometer certification and the Poinçon de Genève, with approximately 65 hours of power reserve. From a horological standpoint, the reference is considered a significant model within the Alpine Eagle range due to its combination of an integrated sports-watch design and high-end L.U.C complications. Chopard introduced the reference in 2022.
